Aran Goyoaga grew up in the Basque Country surrounded by nature and a family of pastry chefs and artists. She is a professionally trained pastry chef who found her passion in food styling, photography and writing through her award-winning blog Cannelle Et Vanille.

Aran works as a freelance food writer, stylist and photographer from her home studio in South Florida where she currently resides with her husband and two children.

She is currently writing and photographing her first cookbook ,which will be published by Little Brown & Company in the fall of 2012.
